Job Summary Seeking an experienced Engineering Technician / Test Engineer with a strong background in semiconductor systems and electro-mechanical assembly. The role will focus on system integration, module assembly, testing, troubleshooting, data analysis, and supporting engineering build activities. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working with lab equipment, engineering drawings, schematics, and hand/power tools.
Requirements:
Associate's Degree in Engineering or a related hardware-focused field.
4+ years of experience working with semiconductor systems.
Hands-on experience with electro-mechanical assembly and system integration.
Experience using multimeters, dial indicators, calipers, and laser measurement tools.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and schematics.
Familiarity with hand and power tools.
Experience setting up tests, developing test plans, and collecting/analyzing test data.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for reports and presentations.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
Responsibilities:
Assemble modules, integrate systems, and support electro-mechanical build activities.
Build and test prototypes and systems to evaluate performance and identify issues.
Set up and execute tests, collect data, and analyze results to identify trends and anomalies.
Troubleshoot and resolve assembly, testing, and system integration issues.
Develop and maintain build processes, schedules, drawings, schematics, specifications, and technical documentation.
Track materials and coordinate progress against project milestones.
Support current system integration projects and upcoming demonstration tools.
Work with Engineering to identify delta and retrofit parts, develop build schedules, retrofit systems, and resolve related issues.
Provide technical support to engineers and project team members.
Collaborate with engineering and cross-functional teams to develop solutions to technical challenges.
