Engineering Technician I

We are seeking a hands-on Engineering Technician I to support product development, prototyping, equipment design, and testing activities. This role is ideal for a mechanically inclined professional who enjoys troubleshooting, building, and working in a fast-paced engineering environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Fabricate prototype products and assist with tooling and process development
  • Perform physical testing on materials, components, and finished devices
  • Design, build, and troubleshoot manufacturing equipment and tooling
  • Support pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical system assembly and testing
  • Develop manufacturing documentation, test protocols, and technical reports
  • Conduct equipment qualifications and assist with engineering change processes
  • Perform basic equipment repairs, calibration support, and process improvements
  • Maintain accurate documentation and a clean, safe work environment
  • Collaborate with engineering teams and train staff on processes as needed


Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum 1 year in a technical or mechanical role
  • Electromechanical experience required
  • Ability to use hand tools and basic lab/shop equipment
  • Basic computer skills (Windows, Microsoft Office)
  • Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills
  • Ability to work in lab, maintenance shop, and cleanroom environments
  • Medical device or pharmaceutical industry experience a plus
