What You'll Do as a Engineering Technician:- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and electromechanical systems
- Repair and optimize existing door systems while supporting new product development projects
- Create and update detailed mechanical drawings using SolidWorks 3D CAD software
- Conduct engineering tests to verify system functionality, performance, and reliability
- Read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings
- Collaborate with engineering and cross-functional teams to improve designs and manufacturing processes
- Document troubleshooting activities, test results, and project outcomes accurately
What You Need to Bring to the Engineering Technician Role:- High school diploma or GED required; technical degree in Mechatronics, Automation, or related field preferred
- Manufacturing experience preferred
- PLC/HMI troubleshooting experience preferred
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills
- Basic computer networking knowledge preferred
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds and work in both office and production environments
- Reliable attendance and willingness to travel occasionally to customer sites for troubleshooting and documentation
