- Experience working directly with customers, contractors, electricians, and/or developers.
- Experience translating field conditions and customer requirements into technical project or construction requirements.
What We're Looking For
Technical knowledge is important, but this position is not strictly a desk-based engineering role. We're looking for someone who is equally comfortable reviewing technical information, visiting a project site, coordinating with a contractor, and speaking directly with a customer.
The ideal candidate brings a practical understanding of utility or construction operations, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to build productive relationships with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
You should be:
- Customer-focused and professional.
- Comfortable working in both office and field environments.
- Organized and able to manage multiple projects or requests.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently after training.
- A practical problem-solver with sound judgment.
- Comfortable learning new technical systems and processes.
- A collaborative team player with a positive attitude.
- Able to balance technical accuracy with strong customer service.
Why This Role?
This opportunity provides the chance to work directly with electric distribution projects from the customer request through project execution, gaining exposure to design, construction, field operations, project coordination, and utility systems.
For someone with a field, construction, or utility background who is interested in expanding into electric distribution design and project coordination, this can be an excellent next step.
