The Engineering Test Technician executes functional and performance tests on components, systems, and finished products for a diverse customer base, including the US. Government. This role involves collecting, recording, analyzing and reporting test data and results to support product quality and reliability. Major Responsibilities Conduct functional, performance and quality control tests on components, systems, and finished products. Build, install, calibrate and repair test equipment, instruments and test setups. Collect, record, analyze, and report test data and results, identifying defects or areas for improvement. Develop and maintain test procedures, protocols, and detailed records. Work closely with engineers and cross-functional teams to implement test protocols and meet product requirements. Diagnose technical problems, solve routine issues and suggest repairs or upgrades. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities AA or AS degree or equivalent twoyear technical training in a STEM discipline. Six or more years of relevant experience. Strong understanding of electronic circuitry and advanced troubleshooting techniques. Proficiency with test instruments and data collection and analysis tools. Ability to read technical drawings, schematics and specifications. Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Ability to follow structured procedures and work safely with potentially hazardous equipment (e.g., high voltage, etc.).
