This part-time ESOL Tutor position supports adult English language learners on the Lawrence campus.
Responsibilities include providing individual and small group instruction in grammar, reading, writing, listening, speaking, pronunciation, and cultural context, as well as tracking student progress and collaborating with instructors and staff.
The role requires a Bachelor's Degree in English, ELL, or a related field, with at least three years of tutoring or teaching experience, familiarity with online platforms, and strong communication skills.
Preferred qualifications include a Master's degree, community college experience, and bilingual (Spanish/English) skills.
Compensation is $36.55/hour, with up to 12 hours/week during the academic year. Applications are reviewed until filled.
