GCU Traditional Campus - Phoenix, AZ:

• Instruction for our Fall Semester begins on September 8, 2026, and ends on December 20, 2026 - Final Course Grades are due on December 27, 2026

Courses: English Composition I

This is a writing-intensive course in writing academic prose, including various types of essays, arguments, and constructions.

What You Will Do:

• Facilitate classroom lecture and discussions
• Engage students in learning course objectives and topics
• Assess student performance and mentor success in the classroom
• Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University's Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement, and Mission of Grand Canyon University

What You Will Bring:

• Preferred: PhD in English OR

• Composition OR

• Writing OR

• Professional Writing OR

• Rhetoric

• Minimum: Master's in the above areas

• Exceptions may be granted to individuals with a Master's in any field AND 18-graduate credits in English AND substantial teaching experience
