Position Overview

• Plan and deliver engaging ELA instruction aligned with the school’s curriculum, grade-level standards, and individual student learning needs.
• Establish a structured, inclusive classroom environment that promotes academic growth, positive behavior, and student engagement.
• Use varied instructional strategies, resources, and technology to support diverse learning styles and abilities.
• Regularly assess student progress and use data to provide targeted intervention, enrichment, and acceleration.

Qualifications 

• Bachelor’s degree
• Active Tennessee teaching license/certificate with the appropriate ELA endorsement
• 2+ years of teaching experience preferred, with experience in urban or charter school settings strongly preferred
