Job Summary
Under the direction of the Superintendent or designee, the ELD Curriculum Coach will assist in the creation and implementation of an English Language Development (ELD) program and provide support that ensures all English Learner (EL) students develop proficiency in academic English. The ELD Coach will also ensure that EL students have access to a standards-based English Development program (both integrated and designated). The ELD Coach will support the consistent implementation of the California English Language Development standards, as well as the English Language Arts / English Language Development Framework and related professional development and instructional planning for EL students.
