The Cedarburg School District seeks a highly dedicated District-wide English Language Learner Teacher beginning with the 2026-27 school year. The goal of the Cedarburg School District English Language Learner Teacher is twofold: to establish and model the highest professional standards of conduct to promote and facilitate English language proficiency and acculturation for all students learning English as a second language. This is achieved by helping teachers create classroom environments that utilize best practices in instruction and assessment, and ensures high levels of student proficiency and achievement through a structured, relevant, research-proven program.

Excellent communication, time management and organizational skills are required. Applicants should also be skilled at helping teachers integrate technology into personalized learning opportunities and the use of formative assessment data to guide instruction and foster student-ownership for learning. The ability to engage in professional discourse while working toward consensus is highly desired. A tireless work ethic and sense of humor are mandatory. Only intrinsically motivated individuals with the most positive of attitudes should consider working in this highly regarded district where students'' needs come first.

This is a full-time, renewing, benefited teacher contract beginning with the 2026-27 school year. At least 3 years demonstrated successful experience as a teacher is desired, with teach leader experience preferred.
