Job Information:

- Location: The student's home in Katy, Texas (ZIP code: 77494)
- Availability: Tuesday and Thursday at 6 pm
- Frequency: 2x week, 60 minutes per session
- Current English level: Novice
- Native language: Portuguese
- Student's language needs and goals: Getting fluent in English. Working on Writing skills for school.
- Additional information: He studies English at school, but is not fluent. He knows some vocabulary. / He doesn't like to do homework. He loves talking and participating in school activities. / He likes soccer, superheroes, science, cars, and Lego.
Responsibilities:
- Delivering tailored, dynamic, effective, and engaging lessons
- Developing curricula based on learners’ proficiency level and desired outcomes
- Monitoring students’ progress and guiding learners toward learning goals
- Communicating in an efficient, effective, and professional manner
Qualifications:
- To have native or near-native written and spoken proficiency in English
- To have a degree in language teaching, education, instructional design, writing, language, linguistics, second language acquisition, or a related field
- To have a minimum of two years of English as a second language teaching experience
- Experience teaching children is a must
