Assists the English Learner teacher and/or classroom teacher through interpretation and translation to reinforce instruction as directed by the teacher.
Serves as a liaison and facilitates important communication between home and school by helping each to understand the needs of the students and the services of the school.
Works with English Learner students in I/E time to meet academic standards.
Supports and/or tests one-on-one or small groups of students to reinforce academic instruction.
Prepares materials and assists in the instruction of students.
Works closely with the English Learner Teacher.
Completes clerical work as assigned.
Offers support to parents with completion of school forms, etc.
Interprets for Parent/Teacher conferences and IEP meetings as needed.
Performs additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
WHAT YOU'LL RECEIVE
$17.00 per hour
