WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Assists the English Learner teacher and/or classroom teacher through interpretation and translation to reinforce instruction as directed by the teacher.
- Serves as a liaison and facilitates important communication between home and school by helping each to understand the needs of the students and the services of the school.
- Works with English Learner students in I/E time to meet academic standards.
- Supports and/or tests one-on-one or small groups of students to reinforce academic instruction.
- Prepares materials and assists in the instruction of students.
- Works closely with the English Learner Teacher.
- Completes clerical work as assigned.
- Offers support to parents with completion of school forms, etc.
- Interprets for Parent/Teacher conferences and IEP meetings as needed.
- Performs additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
WHAT YOU'LL RECEIVE
- $17.00 per hour
