The Baldwin-Woodville Area School District is seeking a uniquely qualified applicant for our high school. We are seeking a 1.0 FTE position that consists of a .5 FTE Spanish teacher with a focus on Spanish I coursework and a .5 EL/ML teacher to specialize working with our multilingual students in grades 9-12.
Candidates will foster an inclusive environment and will collaborate with school staff to ensure we are meeting the language needs of all students. The ideal candidate will have an understanding of and ability to provide language instruction to students to increase their Spanish proficiency and or English proficiency.
Ideal candidates will administer and interpret language proficiency assessments in order to determine eligibility for multilingual services. They will work closely with the families of our multilingual learners to support and advocate for the needs of our students. Experience working with high school students a plus with a commitment to lifelong learning.
