JOB DESCRIPTION

 

Summary/Objective
Magellan International School in Austin, Texas, is seeking an English Teacher to work at the Primary School. The teacher will create a progressive learning environment where students demonstrate critical thinking and uphold the attributes of the International Baccalaureate (IB) learner profile. The teacher will support students' academic and personal development while contributing to extracurricular and community activities.

Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office as well as a classroom environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets and requires lifting, bending, standing, and stooping. Work is performed indoors and outdoors.

Travel
Some out-of-area travel may be expected, for example, overnight Field Trips.
