Organization Information The Muhlenberg County School System serves over 4300 students from Preschool through Grade 12. There are five elementary schools, one middle schools, one high school, an alternative school that serves middle and high school students, and a technology center. We also partner with the Muhlenberg County Career Center in providing education and career training for our students. We are a district committed to excellence in teaching and learning. Our district provides a clean, orderly and safe environment, efficient transportation of students, nutritious meals and financial assistance to all schools. Must have valid Kentucky Teaching Certification in High School English/Language Arts or eligibility for area and grade level of assignment. Job Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to: Enjoys working with students and in a team oriented atmosphere. Maintain accurate and complete student records, and prepare reports on children and activities, as required by laws, district policies and administrative regulations. Modify the general education curriculum for special needs students who have an IEP based upon a variety of instructional techniques/strategies and instructional technology to meet the needs of students.
