Position Summary
A secondary classroom teacher serves in grades 9-12 or a combination thereof, and creates a flexible program and atmosphere favorable to learning and personal growth in accordance with each student''s ability.
Essential Job Functions
- Provides learning experiences and teaches the course of study prescribed by the District approved curriculum.
- Develops and uses instructional materials suitable for verbal and/or visual instruction of students with a wide range of mental, physical, and emotional maturity.
- Demonstrates the ability to effectively instruct and assess students.
- Understands and maintains consistent progress toward meeting competency levels of Wisconsin's 10 Teaching Standards.
- Provides individual and group instruction designed to meet individual needs and motivate students.
- Establishes and maintains standards of student control required to achieve effective participation in all activities.
- Exceptional communicates skills with families and colleagues
- Maintains the District's standards relative to the confidentiality of information about students and school related concerns.
- Attends to the safety and well being of all students.
- Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
- Bachelor''s degree, including all courses to meet credential requirements
- Valid Wisconsin license authorizing service in grade levels and areas assigned
- Student teaching, internship, or full-time teaching experience
