The School District of Rhinelander is seeking a fully licensed High School English Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. As a District we are focused on Student Growth and Success, Operational Stewardship, High Performing Teams and Engagement. Our District is actively working towards target based grading and we continue to invest in the development and execution of professional learning communities (PLCs). We offer a competitive salary and benefits package including up to $20,000 towards your continuing education (i.e. graduate degree, additional licensure etc).

REPORTS TO: Building Principal

Qualifications Include the Ability, Desire and Passion to:

  • Utilize creative and innovative classroom instructional practices
  • Incorporate differentiated instructional strategies into lesson planning and delivery
  • Utilize assessments to plan instruction, monitor student progress and assess student performance
  • Collaboration with teaching colleagues to develop a plan for instructing common curriculum,

develop common assessments, and provide peer feedback on instructional practices based on

observation and assessment data.

  • Immerse yourself in professional development activities to remain current in utilizing the best

classroom instructional practices

  • Incorporate career and college readiness objectives into classroom lessons
  • Must be able to use UDL strategies in lesson plan creation and in the classroom
