About the Role
Job Role: English Teacher (with Head of Department possibility)
Employment Type: Permanent, Full-time, January 2027 with possible earlier start
Location: Westminster Campus
Salary Range: £50,512 - £74,661 per annum (depending on experience)
We seek a vibrant, well-qualified, and committed teacher of English to deliver lessons across both the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme and Diploma Programme to students aged 11-18.
Experience of IB MYP and DP programmes is desirable but not essential. Of prime importance is a love of teaching; you need to be energetic, focused and reliable in the classroom, and to foster passion and dedication in students. With a liberal ethos, an emphasis on academic rigour and a commitment to the values of the IB, Southbank offers the opportunity to further extend your teaching and learning skills in a friendly, supportive but hard-working team.
Suitably qualified and experienced applicants will also be considered for the role of Head of Department which comes with an additional annual payment.
