English/Theater Long-Term Sub Teacher

The candidate must:

• Possess a valid Wisconsin teaching license.
• Continuously reflect on current practices looking for next steps and opportunities to enhance student learning.
• Create meaningful relationships and develop genuine connections, recognizing each person as a unique individual and valuing differences.
• Challenge and stretch student thinking, encouraging an excitement for learning by instilling a sense of ownership in students.
• Utilize a variety of assessment types to measure learning. Provide feedback to assess student's applied knowledge and to inform next steps.
• Desire to work with colleagues in a professional learning community setting to ensure the needs of all students are met.
• Develop and deliver student-centered lessons utilizing a broad range of effective, personalized techniques and strategies.
• Be committed to the school community beyond the classroom.
