Pay Range: $60/hr - $75/hour.  Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:

  • On site  Looking for candidate with Desigen experience in injection molding anfd plastics.
  • Design sheet metal, plastic, and machined parts and assemblies for use in automation equipment.
  • Analyze and test the design of parts and assemblies to ensure that they meet design specifications, cost goals, and manufacturability requirements.
  • Contribute to a multidisciplinary research and development team to conceptualize innovative new systems related to pharmaceutical automation.
  • Work closely with in-house engineers and technicians, plus outside vendors, to develop cost-effective mechanical prototypes that also support electrical and software subsystems.
  • Document part and system designs for sourcing, inspection, and internal use.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience: 

  • Key skills; CAD/Solidworls, Mechanical/mechanical design, pharma/medical device, automation industry, injection molding/ plastic 
  • Robotics and automation experience 
  • Industry backgrounds  in Med device, Pharma, Auto , Automation Industry 
  • Minitab
  • Developing root cause analysis techniques.
  • Familiar with standards and regulations (ISO, FDA, OSHA, ASTM).
  • Can operate and troubleshoot mechanical test equipment in the lab.
  • Developing in the operation of environmental conditioning chambers, equipment calibration and maintenance.
  • Preferred skills: MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Outlook, TEAMs.
  • FEA Modeling (Finite Element Analysis Modeling)
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics Engineering
  • 7 years of related work experience
  • Previous classroom and/or work experience with solid modeling and analysis tools, SolidWorks experience preferred
  • Excellent analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced team-oriented environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to work across a variety of departments
  • Multi-tasking and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, and Outlook
