Description

Temp to hire paying $25-27hr! Located in Irvine, HYBRID opportunities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer end-to-end COBRA processes including qualifying events, notifications, elections, reinstatements, and terminations.
  • Ensure compliance with COBRA regulations, timelines, and required documentation
  • Coordinate with vendors, service reps, and internal teams regarding COBRA eligibility and billing inquiries
  • Maintain accurate records related to COBRA participants, contributions, and coverage status
  • Provide support to review and/or reconciliation of customer bills and invoices.
  • Process enrollments, terminations, and changes for employer groups and individual members
  • Maintain accurate records of adds, terms, changes within internal systems
  • Liaising with internal teams and colleagues to resolve problems and find solutions
  • Support on all aspects of Commercial health plan and COBRA Administration
  • Providing Help Desk Support for Group Administration department as needed or on rotation.
  • Maintains HIPPA compliance, documents and projects in trust and integrity on behalf o company, handles confidential information with discretion, trust, and integrity.
  • Maintains discretion and confidentiality in relationships with all board, members, staff, and leadership as needed.
  • Any other duties as assigned by your supervisor and as business dictates.

Essential Skills

  • 2 or more years of experience in healthcare, benefit plans, office administration and customer service roles strongly preferred
  • High School diploma required; College Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Communications, or related field strongly preferred.
  • Excellent skills with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and Smartsheet's
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and skilled in active listing/ providing feedback
  • Must be comfortable working in a collaborative team environment.
  • Must be able to type a minimum of 50 wpm.
  • Must have a strong sense of urgency and excellent time management skills
