Virginia Medicaid has low-cost and no-cost health coverage programs. There are programs for children, pregnant women and adults, including those with disabilities. Our contingent staff will be assisting clients with programming connection and eligibility.
· Process specialized cases with a high degree of difficulty.
· Work and research appeals at supervisor’s discretion. Serve as SME on eligibility policy and processes for team and understand impact on other teams.
· Work closely with management and work groups to create and maintain work plan documents.
· Track the status and due dates of projects.
· Collaborate with project managers on various initiatives and projects to track progress and provide support as necessary.
· Assist training team during the last week of sandboxing to answer questions and assist new trainees as they transition to their team.

· High school diploma or GED required, and 3+ years of relevant professional experience required, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
· Prior recent experience with medical eligibility/enrollment or medical appeals or customer service in the healthcare sector is mandatory. Otherwise, won't be considered.
· Associate degree with 2+ years' experience preferred.
· Basic computer navigational skills.
· Novice level knowledge with Microsoft Office.
· Bilingual proficiency in Spanish Preferred.
Training Schedule/Duration: 100% attendance is expected. Reinforce the importance of attendance during training and nesting. There should be no time off requests or requests to leave early or arrive late during the training period. The expectation is that a supplier will not present a candidate with a prescheduled appointment during the training period. Missing time during the training period may result in termination.
