We"re hiring 4 Health Plan Enrollment Representatives to support a large-scale enrollment operations project with one of Northern California"s most respected and recognized healthcare organizations. Health Plan Enrollment Representative

Location: Sacramento, CA (Onsite)

Schedule: Full-Time | Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM-5:00 PM

Project Length: 52 Weeks, room for extension!

Start Date: July 27, 2026

About the Opportunity

Join a premier healthcare system known for its commitment to quality patient care and operational excellence. This special project team will play a key role in supporting health plan enrollment activities, ensuring member eligibility accuracy, maintaining regulatory compliance, and delivering exceptional service to members and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process new enrollments, terminations, eligibility updates, and PCP changes
  • Verify member eligibility and resolve enrollment discrepancies
  • Review and maintain demographic and enrollment data within enrollment systems
  • Process retroactive eligibility changes and enrollment corrections
  • Respond to eligibility inquiries from internal and external partners
  • Generate member correspondence and process duplicate ID card requests
  • Review enrollment submissions for accuracy and completeness
  • Collaborate with brokers, vendors, Member Services, and internal departments to resolve enrollment issues
  • Support enrollment audits, data validation activities, and compliance initiatives
  • Assist with open enrollment and annual enrollment readiness activities

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • At least 1 year of recent experience in health plan enrollment, eligibility, insurance operations, healthcare administration, or related healthcare support functions
  • Experience working with enrollment processing, eligibility verification, demographic updates, and member data maintenance
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Experience with data entry, database management, file uploads, and data validation
  • Strong understanding of confidentiality requirements and handling protected health information (PHI)
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of health insurance enrollment and eligibility practices
  • Familiarity with managed care, payer operations, reimbursement models, and regulatory requirements
  • Experience with Microsoft Access, SQL Server, or enrollment file layouts
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet production standards
  • Experience supporting open enrollment or annual enrollment activities

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
