GRIGGS INTL ACADEMY - Enrollment/Student Services Supervisor

Position summary

This candidate will provide a variety of student services that will include supporting students needs, enrollment, communications, academic support, Griggs Life event planning and student retention.

Qualifications summary

The candidate should have a related degree and experience in an educational environment/marketing/recruiting. An undergraduate/master's degree is preferred.

Must be a Seventh-day Adventist in good and regular standing.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Supervise Student Enrollment
  • Manage the main Griggs phone number calls
  • Collaborate in promotional efforts
  • Coordinate family/student visits
  • Develop a communication plan
  • Participate in automated student information
  • Supervise the student help desk
  • Assist students with academic strategies
  • Supply resources to students and teachers for IEPs
  • Coordinate Mentorship Program
  • Liason for students and teachers
  • Coordinate Chapels/assemblies
  • Publish a monthly newsletter
  • Preparation for Handbook/Catalog Edits
  • Website Editor
  • Announcements for Griggs Life (LMS)
  • Annual Surveys (Class Climate)

Assist with projects as assigned by the administration

Supervisory responsibilities

  • Coordinate Help Desk, employees
  • Supervise a student hourly worker
  • Supervise Enrollment
  • Supervise and participate in the enrollment process
  • Supervise the edits for the Catalog/Handbook

Qualifications

  • BA or BS degree in related area
  • Teacher Certification preferred
  • Master's Degree (Preferred)
  • Experience with SDA Education
  • Experience with planning events
  • Professional writing skills
  • Digital Media skills/Editing
  • Used to using various technologies
  • Comfortable planning online events
  • Enjoys collaborating with a team

Must be a Seventh-day Adventist in good and regular standing.

Technical competencies

  • Comfortable learning how to use an LMS
  • Able to create and edit advertisements
  • Work with the online calendar and website
  • Able to adapt to the changes in SIS

  • High level organization skills
  • Good communication skills (Phone, Zoom, and email)

  • Ability to complete projects in a timely manner
  • Able to delegate job responsibilities

Physical demands

Work at a computer for long periods and attend meetings.
