Position OverviewThe Graduate and Online Enrollment Counselor serves as a primaryguide for prospective students, managing the recruitment pipelinefrom initial inquiry through successful enrollment. By assessingacademic eligibility and articulating the value of ButlerUniversity's career outcomes, this role ensures a seamlessonboarding experience through close collaboration with campuspartners. Ultimately, the Counselor acts as a dedicated advocateand resource, embodying the university's mission to providehigh-touch, professional support to the graduate and onlinecommunity.ResponsibilitiesManage the Full Enrollment Lifecycle: Act as the primarypoint of contact for prospective students, guiding them through theinquiry, application, and registration phases to ensure a seamlessonboarding experience.Conduct Academic Evaluations: Meet prospective studentsto assess academic eligibility and provide detailed consultationsregarding program curriculum, career outcomes, and universityresources.Execute Multi-Channel Recruitment: Implement proactiveoutreach strategies via phone, email, and SMS to nurture leads andmeet strategic enrollment targets for online and graduateprograms.Strategic Relationship Management: Foster collaborativepartnerships with Program Directors, Enrollment Operations, andFinancial Aid,o resolve student bottlenecks and facilitate timelyadmissions decisions.Represent Butler University: Lead recruitment efforts atin-person and virtual events, effectively communicating theuniversity's value proposition to diverse audiences.Data Integrity & CRM Management: Maintain preciserecords within the Slate CRM to track student progress,manage the recruitment funnel, and generate data-driven reports forleadership.Facilitate Post-Admission Support: Serve as a bridgebetween admission and enrollment by assisting students withquestions regarding orientation, financial aid and transition toacademic advising.Exercise Professional Judgment: Manage sensitive andcomplex applicant situations with care, tact, and a commitment toservice excellence, adhering to the university's core values andvision.Required QualificationsA bachelor's degree in a related field.A minimum of 2 years of experience in higher education,recruitment and /or admissions.Demonstrated experience working in CRM platforms.Proficiency with MS Office suite of tools (e.g. PowerPoint,Word, Excel)Valid U.S. driver's license and/or means to travel forrecruitment.Preferred QualificationsExperience with Slate CRMExperience in higher education, preferably in an admission,recruitment or student affairsUse of social media and web for student engagement.BU Benefits and PerksPlease check out Butler'sTotal Rewards website to learn more about our benefitofferings, which include:Paid Time Off and Holidays : 20 days of paid time off (vacation and PTO days) per Fiscalyear8 Paid Holidays In addition, a paid Winter Break between Christmas Eve and NewYear's DayPaid Parental Leave (after 1 year of full-time employment)Health : Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision plans includingdisability and life insurance programsRetirement : 10% employer contribution after 1 year of full-timeemploymentTuition Assistance : Tuition Exchange Program for DependentsRemission of tuition for classes taken at Butler for employees,spouses, and dependent children.
