Enterprise Account Executive

As an Enterprise Account Executive, you'll lead your territory and partner with some of the largest and most complex organizations we serve, helping them solve business-critical data challenges with Smarty. You'll own the full sales cycle for enterprise prospects, generate your own pipeline, and work closely with an SMB Account Executive and a Customer Success Manager to manage your territory as a team. We expect you to close new enterprise business at or above quota, forecast accurately, and set the direction for your territory, coordinating priorities, sharing account insights, and making sure every customer gets the right level of attention. You'll handle complex deals with confidence, including technical evaluations, multiple stakeholders, procurement, and legal reviews. In return, your earnings are uncapped and tied directly to the results you drive, so the upside is real for someone who goes after the biggest opportunities. This role is for a driven closer and natural leader who wants to lead a territory, not just work in one, at a company with a product customers already trust.

This is a full-time, onsite role in our Orem, Utah office.

What you'll do:

• Identify, qualify, and close net-new mid-market and enterprise opportunities within an assigned territory
• Own the full sales cycle, including discovery, solution demonstration, proposal development, procurement, legal and security review, negotiation, and contract close
• Build and communicate a clear business case and ROI for prospective accounts, articulating the value of adopting Smarty's platform over legacy or manual alternatives
• Land initial engagements within target accounts and expand adoption horizontally across additional teams, departments, or use cases within the same account over time
• Proactively build pipeline through direct outreach and account-based prospecting
• Partner with Pre-Sales Engineers to scope proof-of-concept evaluations, and with Product Management to relay enterprise feature and roadmap requirements
• Negotiate pricing and contract terms in accordance with approved deal parameters
• Maintain a disciplined pipeline and forecast in the CRM using a structured sales qualification methodology 
• Partner with Customer Success on a structured handoff of newly closed accounts to support onboarding and retention
• Maintain light-touch relationships with closed accounts to support renewal continuity within the retained renewal incentive

Who you are:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
• 5+ years of experience in enterprise or complex B2B SaaS sales, with a demonstrated record of new-logo quota attainment
• Experience managing a full, multi-stakeholder sales cycle for mid-market or enterprise accounts
• Experience managing 6 and 7-figure Annual Contract Values (ACV) with a sales cycle ranging from 6 to 12 months
