Description:WHAT WE'RE DOING

At Sikorsky, we are committed to driving innovation and maintaining our leadership in aerospace by enhancing the affordability, efficiency, and competitiveness of our product lines. Our Business Performance Office (BPO) plays a key role in driving cost competitiveness across our flagship platforms, including the CH-53K, Hawk, and S-92 product lines. Through strategic partnerships and collaboration, we are continuously working to enhance our products and deliver maximum value to our customers.

THE WORK

As the Project & Planning Manager for Enterprise Affordability, you will be at the center of Sikorsky's commitment to operational improvement and financial performance. You will manage the full operational lifecycle of a cross-functional affordability portfolio, serving as the key liaison between project planning, project teams, and line management to ensure that high-impact initiatives are well-resourced, on schedule, and delivering measurable returns.

Your responsibilities will include:

Managing the operational aspects of the enterprise affordability project portfolio, overseeing project status, budgets, and schedules across a range of concurrent initiatives while preparing regular status reports that keep senior leadership and key stakeholders informed on progress, risks, and outcomes.

Serve as the primary liaison between project management and planning, cross-functional project teams, and line management, ensuring alignment on priorities, resources, and execution standards across Operations, Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance, and IT.

Identifying and championing AI and automation opportunities across the enterprise, working with IT and functional subject matter experts to oversee the delivery of solutions spanning manufacturing operations, quality and root cause analysis, repair and maintenance processes, supply chain execution, and workforce capability that reduce recurring costs and free up labor capacity.

Monitoring the assessment of project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and stakeholder satisfaction goals, and you will establish the mechanisms and governance structures needed to track project progress, enable early intervention, and facilitate problem solving with project managers, line managers, and functional partners.

Leading the transition of consultant-delivered work into sustainable internal capability, ensuring that externally developed solutions are fully adopted, documented, and owned by Sikorsky teams so that efficiency gains are preserved and compounded long after engagements conclude.

Develop and maintain the assessment and selection criteria used to prioritize new affordability opportunities, directing the organization's improvement capacity toward the highest-value work and advising senior leadership on the long-range portfolio strategy needed to achieve enterprise financial commitments.
