Enterprise Application Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Application Engineer to support, maintain, and enhance the firm's critical business applications. This role will partner closely with business and technology stakeholders to ensure the stability, performance, security, and continuous improvement of enterprise systems across multiple business functions.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Microsoft SQL Server, API integrations, workflow automation, Azure enterprise applications, and Windows Server administration , along with the ability to troubleshoot complex application and data-related issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer, support, and optimize enterprise applications across finance, marketing, and practice management platforms.
• Design, develop, and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures, SSIS packages, and SSRS reports to support business operations and reporting needs.
• Develop and support integrations using APIs, scripting languages, and middleware solutions.
• Automate business and IT workflows using tools such as Power Automate, Boomi, and PowerShell.
• Manage and support Azure-based enterprise applications, including Azure AD app registrations, authentication, and identity integrations.
• Administer and maintain Windows Servers, SQL Servers, Azure Fabric, and related application infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex application, integration, and data-related issues across interconnected systems.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and third-party vendors to implement enhancements and ensure system reliability.
• Participate in application upgrades, patch management, and scheduled maintenance activities.
• Maintain technical documentation, system configurations, and operational procedures.

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience supporting enterprise applications in a production environment.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, including:
  • Query development and optimization
  • SSRS reporting
  • SSIS development and ETL processes
  • Basic DBA functions, including job creation, maintenance plans, and performance tuning
• Experience developing and supporting API integrations.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, C#, or similar technologies.
• Working knowledge of Azure Enterprise Applications, including:
  • Azure AD App Registrations
  • Authentication and identity integrations
• Experience with workflow automation platforms such as Power Automate.
• Strong hands-on experience administering Windows Server environments.
• Experience troubleshooting complex application, integration, and data issues.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Strong documentation, organizational, and process management skills.
• Ability to quickly learn new technologies and adapt to evolving business requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting legal industry applications, including Elite 3E or similar law firm platforms.
• Exposure to Azure Fabric and modern cloud-based enterprise technologies.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Microsoft or other relevant technical certifications.
