Title: Enterprise Applications Architect
Location: Columbia, SC (Hybrid)
Duration: 6 months
Pay Range: $45 - $49/Hour on W2/C2C (All inclusive)JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Enterprise Applications Architect defines and maintains the application architecture needed to
support business capabilities across the organization. The role strengthens application strategy, ensures
alignment with enterprise standards, and provides architectural oversight throughout the software
development lifecycle to support secure, scalable, and well governed technology outcomes.
Major Responsibility Area:
- Establish and Maintain Enterprise Application Architecture
- Govern Application Standards and Architectural Documentation
- Support Enterprise Architecture Governance
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain high-level application architectures aligned with business capabilities and enterprise standards.
• Partner with business and technology leaders to validate architecture fit and support solution planning.
• Provide architectural guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
• Conduct architecture-related quality checks to ensure compliance with standards.
• Maintain architectural documentation, including conceptual and target-state designs.
• Support development and communication of application and technology standards.
• Update architecture materials to ensure traceability and alignment.
• Prepare and present designs for governance reviews.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure solution proposals are review-ready.
• Recommend adjustments when solutions deviate from architectural expectations.
Standard Responsibilities:
General Responsibilities : Perform other assigned duties and participate in specific projects as required.
Continuous Learning: Maintain knowledge of industry trends, management practices, and bank policies, procedures, and guidelines.
Security Responsibility; Comply with all security policies, including protection of sensitive information, workspaces, passwords, email systems, and incident reporting requirements.
Risk Management Responsibility: Execute risk and control procedures, identify and report risks through SIRP, collaborate with control owners, and maintain audit evidence to support organizational integrity and compliance.
Experience
10+ years in application architecture or software design with hands-on involvement across the full software development lifecycle
