Description:

CTG is seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect to lead architectural strategy and assessment activities supporting an Advanced Distribution Management System (ADMS) transformation initiative. The ideal candidate will have extensive enterprise architecture experience within the utility industry, with expertise in architecture governance, regulatory compliance, systems integration, data architecture, and digital transformation. This role will drive gap analysis, target-state architecture development, and strategic recommendations that enable a successful ADMS modernization program.

Duration: 2 months

 

Duties:

  • Lead enterprise architecture activities supporting a large-scale ADMS transformation.
  • Validate architectural gaps, risks, mitigation strategies, and impact analyses.
  • Assess current architecture, workflows, application landscape, and integration patterns against industry standards and best practices.
  • Develop target-state architecture and ensure compliance with applicable regulatory and organizational requirements.
  • Evaluate prioritized applications to ensure alignment with compliant business processes, technology frameworks, and enterprise data models.
  • Partner with Data Architects to validate data sources for regulatory compliance, privacy, retention, governance, and security.
  • Benchmark current capabilities against peer utility organizations and recommend innovative architectural improvements.
  • Provide strategic guidance to business and technology leaders on modernization initiatives.
  • Develop architecture documentation, roadmaps, and executive presentations supporting transformation efforts.

Experience:

  • 10+ years of enterprise architecture experience.
  • Experience supporting digital transformation initiatives within electric utilities or energy organizations.
  • Proven success designing enterprise architecture roadmaps and target-state environments.
  • Experience collaborating with Enterprise Architects, Data Architects, business leaders, and technical teams.
  • Strong background evaluating enterprise applications, integrations, and technology platforms.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
  • Master's degree preferred.
  • TOGAF or comparable Enterprise Architecture certification is highly desirable.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
