Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect AI Automation to design target-state Azure architectures for intelligent document processing, validation, workflow orchestration, and downstream transaction processing.
The ideal candidate must have strong Enterprise Architecture and Azure Cloud Architecture experience, along with hands-on knowledge of Python, high-volume transaction processing, event-driven architecture, API-led integration, microservices, distributed systems, and workflow orchestration.
Candidates should have experience architecting enterprise-scale, high-volume transaction processing systems using Python.
Key Responsibilities
- Define target-state enterprise architecture, platform boundaries, reference patterns, and architecture guardrails.
- Design Azure cloud-native architectures for intelligent document ingestion, extraction, validation, workflow, case management, and downstream integration.
- Architect reusable APIs, messaging, workflow, data persistence, identity, observability, and environment patterns.
- Design event-driven and asynchronous architectures using Azure messaging and integration services.
- Define architecture for scalable, resilient, high-volume transaction processing systems.
- Establish security architecture using Zero Trust principles, RBAC, encryption, private connectivity, and segregation of duties.
- Define non-functional requirements including scalability, performance, resilience, disaster recovery, supportability, and production readiness.
- Conduct architecture reviews and identify architecture drift, technical risks, and trade-offs.
- Create architecture artifacts, ADRs, reference architectures, and executive-level communications.
- Collaborate with business, product, engineering, security, risk, and governance stakeholders.
- Establish CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, environment management, and production governance standards.
Required Qualifications
- 12+ years of experience in Software, Solution, or Enterprise Architecture.
- 5+ years of Enterprise Architecture experience.
- Strong enterprise-scale Azure Architecture experience.
- Strong Python experience, specifically architecting or supporting high-volume transaction processing systems.
- Experience with distributed systems, microservices, event-driven architecture, and asynchronous integration.
- Strong API-first/API-led architecture experience.
- Hands-on experience with Azure services.
- Experience designing workflow orchestration, human-in-the-loop processes, rules-driven workflows, and case lifecycles.
- Strong understanding of security, identity, networking, resilience, and disaster recovery.
- Experience with CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, and production governance.
- Strong stakeholder communication and ability to translate business requirements into enterprise architecture.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Intelligent Document Processing (IDP), OCR, document extraction, or Azure AI Document Intelligence.
- Experience with regulated, high-volume workflows requiring auditability, explainability, and human-in-the-loop processing.
- Enterprise data architecture experience including lineage, canonical models, and integration patterns.
- Experience building reusable platforms across multiple lines of business.
- Experience working with architecture, security, risk, and production governance teams.
- Azure or enterprise architecture certifications.
