Overview:
Seeking an Enterprise Architect to support GSA OCIO's Application and Enterprise Architecture task area. This role focuses on modernizing and optimizing GSA's technology landscape through comprehensive assessments, target state architecture development, and roadmap creation for DevOps/DevSecOps implementation.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of current systems and develop as-is and target state architectures.
- Create roadmaps for DevOps/DevSecOps implementation.
- Identify efficiency opportunities across GSA's technology landscape.
- Conduct business and technology assessments, modeling, business architecture, and solution architecting/diagramming.
- Support cloud transformation initiatives.
- Provide technical subject matter expertise on full-stack development, APIs, and web applications.
- Ensure alignment with GSA Enterprise Architecture Policy (CIO 2110.4).
- Document all processes, methodologies, and solutions to enable knowledge transfer.
- Ensure all work products are compatible with existing GSA systems and infrastructure.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred).
- Minimum 10 years of experience in enterprise architecture.
- Experience conducting business and technology assessments, modeling, business architecture, road mapping, and solution architecting/diagramming.
- Experience developing as-is and target state architectures.
- Experience creating roadmaps for DevOps/DevSecOps implementation.
- Active HSPD-12 clearance or favorable determination by contract award.
Preferred:
- TOGAF or similar architecture framework certification.
- Experience with GSA Enterprise Architecture (CIO 2110.4).
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Experience with low-code/no-code platforms (ServiceNow, Salesforce).
Schedule & Work Conditions:
- Core Hours: 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM ET, Monday through Friday, excluding Federal holidays.
- Work Location: Primarily remote; occasional in-person meetings at GSA Headquarters (Theodore Roosevelt Building, 1900 E Street NW, Washington, DC) as requested by the COR.
- Travel: Local travel within 50 miles of GSA sites in the Washington, DC metropolitan area is not reimbursable. No other travel is expected.
- Telework: Ad hoc or situational telework is authorized with prior approval from the Task Order Contracting Officer. Telework reports must be submitted by the end of each telework day.
- Security: Must maintain HSPD-12 credential and favorable background investigation throughout the life of the task order.
