Lighthouse Technology Services is partnering with our client to fill their Enterprise Architect Consumer Lending position! This is a 6+ month contract with the expectation to convert to direct hire and will be remote in the United States. This role will be a W2 employee of Lighthouse Technology Services. No C2C or subcontracting arrangements will be considered.
What You'll Be Doing
Define and evolve enterprise architecture strategies and roadmaps that align business priorities, regulatory requirements, and long-term technology vision across the Consumer lending domain
Develop high-level architectural models, frameworks, and reference materials that support secure, scalable, and resilient solutions aligned with enterprise architecture standards and patterns
Partner with senior technology domain leadership to support strategic decision-making, providing consultation services to improve technology delivery and operational efficiency
Translate enterprise technology vision into actionable solution architectures with clear principles, guidelines, and standards that delivery and engineering teams can execute against
Research and communicate fact-based recommendations to Master Architects to support the domain through the Enterprise Architecture governance process, including preparation for S1/S2 leadership meetings
Collaborate across business, application, data, Cloud/infrastructure, security, integration, and operations teams to ensure architectural alignment and identify opportunities for solving problems from a broad enterprise perspective
Lead vendor and partner engagement to evaluate and integrate external technology solutions, ensuring they meet enterprise standards for performance, cost-effectiveness, and agility in a highly regulated environment
Communicate complex architectural concepts clearly and persuasively to both technical and non-technical audiences through presentations, documentation, and visual models
Research, understand, and apply emerging technologies and industry trends to determine their potential impact on the Consumer lending technology landscape
Ensure architectural solutions comply with financial industry regulations, internal risk frameworks, and data privacy standards (FFIEC, SOX, GLBA, GDPR)
What You'll Need to Have
7+ years of experience developing and integrating applications using software architecture principles and patterns, with at least 3+ years focused on Consumer Lending technology within a financial institution
Domain expertise in Consumer lending products and lifecycle including mortgage, HELOC, direct/indirect lending, credit card, and understanding of borrower profiles, risk assessments, credit scoring, and loan servicing
Experience with Consumer lending origination and servicing platforms such as ACAPS, Shaw Classic, Encompass, and Black Knight MSP
Proven experience as an Enterprise Architect with proficiency in enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman) and architectural modeling tools
Exceptional executive communication skills with demonstrated ability to build trusted advisor relationships with senior leaders and influence strategic decisions
Strong understanding of modern technology architectures including cloud platforms, microservices, APIs, data platforms, and integration patterns
Experience working in Agile environments with understanding of how architecture supports DevOps and product-centric delivery models
