Lighthouse Technology Services is partnering with our client to fill their Enterprise Architect - Cyber position! This is a 6 month contract-to-hire and will be remote in the United States. This role will be a W2 employee of Lighthouse Technology Services.
What You'll Be Doing
Define and drive the enterprise cybersecurity architecture strategy across cloud, co-location, and AI platforms, establishing future-state designs with risk-based prioritization and secure-by-design principles
Lead the integration of AI capabilities in cybersecurity operations and secure AI implementations, including threat detection, model protection, regulatory alignment, and responsible AI governance
Establish and enforce comprehensive security standards, governance frameworks, and control mechanisms across identity management, data protection, policy controls, and continuous compliance
Drive cyber telemetry and observability initiatives to ensure full visibility into threats, system behavior, and risk across traditional and AI-enabled environments
Partner with domain leadership to document, visualize, and articulate the overall technical health, current state, and target state of Enterprise Architecture, developing strategic roadmaps aligned with industry trends
Translate the enterprise's technology future-state vision into actionable principles, guidelines, standards, and architecture patterns that align with broader strategic goals
Provide expert consultation and thought leadership to improve technology delivery and operational efficiency, partnering across risk, compliance, engineering, data, and AI teams
Apply deep technical expertise across core cybersecurity domains (IAM, cloud security, network security, application security, SIEM/SOAR) to deliver scalable and resilient architectures
Research and communicate fact-based recommendations on emerging technologies and their potential impact, advising leadership on risk, tradeoffs, and investment priorities
Create and maintain secure architecture reference materials and patterns for technical delivery teams to ensure consistent, compliant, and enterprise-level solutions
What You'll Need to Have
7+ years of experience in developing and integrating applications using software architecture principles and patterns, with strong expertise in cybersecurity architecture
Proven experience defining and implementing enterprise security standards, governance frameworks, and control mechanisms across cloud and on-premise environments
Deep technical knowledge across core cyber domains including IAM, cloud security, network security, application security, and SIEM/SOAR platforms
Demonstrated ability to work with architectural frameworks and enterprise architecture tools to drive strategic technology initiatives
Strong executive communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts, current/target states, and roadmaps to senior leadership and diverse stakeholders
Experience with AI/ML security considerations, including model protection, threat detection, and responsible AI governance principles
Working knowledge of cloud technologies and vendors (AWS, Azure, GCP) with understanding of secure cloud architecture patterns
Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience (11+ years total)
