Enterprise Architect - Data & AI - 3622694

Lighthouse Technology Services is partnering with our client to fill their Enterprise Architect - Data & AI position! This is a 6 month contract-to-hire opportunity and will be remote in the United States. This role will be a W2 employee of Lighthouse Technology Services.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Define and maintain the enterprise conceptual and logical architecture for data and AI ecosystems, including data domains, exchange patterns, pipelines, model integration, and analytics platforms
• Drive standardization of data exchange patterns (event-driven, batch, streaming, API-based) to ensure consistency, scalability, and interoperability across the enterprise
• Collaborate with technology domain leadership to document, visualize, and articulate current and target states of Enterprise Architecture, developing strategic roadmaps aligned with industry trends
• Establish enterprise design principles for data reconciliation, integrity, traceability, and lineage to meet regulatory requirements and governance standards
• Provide thought leadership and consultation services to improve technology delivery, operational efficiency, and strategic decision-making across domains
• Translate future-state architecture vision into actionable principles, guidelines, standards, and patterns that ensure alignment with broader enterprise goals
• Partner with delivery teams on business, application, data, Cloud/infrastructure, security, and integration architecture in preparation for leadership meetings and governance reviews
• Research and evaluate emerging technologies and trends to identify opportunities for solving domain problems through new products, platforms, or system enhancements
• Create and maintain reference materials and enterprise patterns for technical delivery teams, ensuring AI models consume and produce data in a governed and auditable manner

What You'll Need to Have:

• 7+ years of experience developing and integrating applications using software architecture principles and patterns, with at least 11 years combined higher education and/or relevant work experience (or Bachelor's degree with 7 years experience)
• Deep expertise in data and AI architecture, including data platforms, integration frameworks, model hosting, and analytics tooling
• Strong proficiency in enterprise architecture frameworks and tools, with demonstrated ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear executive communications
• Experience working in software engineering, software delivery, and/or solution architecture roles
• Solid understanding of regulatory compliance requirements (e.g., BCBS239, model risk, data protection) and how to embed governance and data quality by design
• Proven ability to build strong stakeholder partnerships and influence senior leadership on strategic technology decisions
• Experience working in Agile environments and the financial services industry strongly preferred
• Certification in enterprise architecture frameworks and Cloud technologies highly desirable

Pay Range: $75 - $100/hr
