Your Role

Akkodis is seeking an Enterprise Architect II for a Contract with a client in Houston, TX. The ideal candidate will lead the design and implementation of enterprise cloud and infrastructure architectures to support business and technology objectives.

Rate Range: $80/Hour to $85/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Enterprise Architect II Responsibilities include:

• Design and develop enterprise-wide cloud and infrastructure architecture solutions to support current and future business needs.

• Ensure system architectures comply with organizational standards, security requirements, and technology governance policies.

• Provide technical leadership and guidance on software engineering design, cloud platforms, and infrastructure best practices.

• Evaluate existing systems, workflows, and technology processes, recommending improvements to enhance performance and scalability.

• Lead technical planning, architecture reviews, vendor evaluations, and solution recommendations for cloud-based initiatives.

• Supervise and mentor technical teams, ensuring successful delivery of infrastructure and cloud modernization projects.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field; advanced degree preferred.

• 2-4 years of experience in enterprise architecture, cloud infrastructure, or technology solution delivery.

• Hands-on experience with Azure and Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including cloud architecture design and implementation.

• Experience providing technical leadership, architecture guidance, and software engineering best practices across technology teams.

Pay Details: $80.00 to $85.00 per hour
