Enterprise Architect - Institutional Client Services - 3600432

Lighthouse Technology Services is partnering with our client to fill their Enterprise Architect - Institutional Client Services (ICS) position! This is a 6+ months contract and will be remote in United States. This role will be a W2 employee of Lighthouse Technology Services. No C2C or subcontracting arrangements will be considered.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Lead the development of enterprise architecture strategies, roadmaps, and target state architectures for the Institutional Client Services (ICS) domain, ensuring alignment with business priorities and technology vision
• Partner with senior domain leadership and delivery teams to document, visualize, and communicate current state technical health and target architectures across business, application, data, cloud/infrastructure, security, and integration domains
• Provide strategic consultation and thought leadership to technology domain leaders, leveraging expertise in technical and business strategy to support critical decision-making and improve technology delivery efficiency
• Research and translate emerging technology trends and industry standards into actionable recommendations, architectural principles, and patterns that align with broader enterprise goals and drive reuse of existing capabilities
• Facilitate the enterprise architecture governance process by preparing fact-based recommendations and presenting architecture proposals at S1/S2 leadership meetings and architectural peer group sessions
• Identify opportunities for solving complex domain problems from an enterprise perspective, recommending new products, platforms, or system enhancements that support strategic initiatives
• Build and maintain strong stakeholder partnerships with senior leaders, demonstrating exceptional communication skills to articulate complex architectural concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Create and maintain comprehensive reference materials, design patterns, and architectural documentation to ensure consistent, compliant solutions that support Agile delivery teams

What You'll Need to Have:

• 7+ years of experience developing and integrating applications using software architecture principles and patterns, with demonstrated expertise in enterprise architecture delivery (designs, assessments, roadmaps, target architectures)
• Deep knowledge of corporate and institutional banking domains, including lending, trust, payments, deal management, capital markets, investment management, or structured finance
• Understanding of financial services regulatory requirements and risk frameworks (e.g., FFIEC, SOX, GLBA)
• Strong background in software engineering, software delivery, and/or solution architecture, with experience working across cloud technologies, microservices, APIs, and integration patterns
• Working knowledge of architectural frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman) and enterprise architecture tools, with proven ability to apply them in complex financial services environments
• Exceptional stakeholder management and executive communication skills, with the ability to build trusted advisor relationships and influence senior leadership without direct authority

Pay Range: $100 - $120/hr
