Shafter, HI, supporting the INDOPACOM customer to maintain a robust and reliable communication and network infrastructure to execute its mission. The Chief Engineer is responsible for technical planning, system hardware-software-network design, development and integration, verification and validation, and fielding to bring about the successful completion of EPICS program goals and objectives.Primary Responsibilities: Provide technical leadership and foster strong customer relationships to ensure program successEvaluates alternatives including cost and risk, supportability and analyses for total systemsRecommends and develops innovative technical solutions, products, and/or standards in support of EPICS strategy and operationsLeads and manages the engineering staff performing systems requirements analysis, functional analysis, timeline analysis, trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition, technical management, integration, system testing, and quality assurance Basic Qualifications:Masters with 15+ years of prior relevant experience or Doctorate with 13 - 16 years of prior relevant experience.Appropriate DoD 8140 Level 3 CertificationTS/SCIExperience in evaluating and improving IT infrastructure and C5 ISR capabilitiesExperience providing technical leadership to staff involving multiple complex and interrelated project tasksDesired Qualifications:Appropriate CISCO CertificationAppropriate Cloud Solutions Certification (AWS/Azure/GCP)Experience Leading Network Engineering and Systems Engineering Teams over past 5 years2 years' experience developing and implementing DoDAF Architecture for CCMD or Service Components3+ years' experience in INDOPACOM AOR leading engineering teamsIf you''re looking for comfort, keep scrolling.
