Kforce has a client that is seeking an Enterprise Architect (Generalist) in Spring, TX. Summary: We are seeking a hands-on Enterprise Architect to drive technology strategy, architecture standards, and digital transformation initiatives. This role partners with Solution Architects, engineering teams, and business leaders to ensure solutions are scalable, secure, resilient, and aligned with enterprise objectives. The ideal candidate brings a broad architecture background spanning applications, cloud, infrastructure, data, integrations, and AI-enabled solutions. This individual will balance strategic planning with hands-on guidance, helping teams deliver modern, business-focused technology solutions. Key Responsibilities:
  • Define and maintain enterprise architecture principles, standards, reference architectures, and governance practices
  • Develop current-state and future-state architecture roadmaps across applications, infrastructure, cloud, data, and integrations
  • Partner with delivery teams to design scalable, secure, and compliant solutions aligned with enterprise standards
  • Drive application, platform, and infrastructure modernization initiatives focused on reducing technical debt and improving business outcomes
  • Promote the adoption of reusable services, APIs, cloud platforms, digital foundations, and AI capabilities
  • Facilitate architecture reviews and governance processes, providing guidance and managing exceptions where appropriate
  • Evaluate technology investments, balancing business value, risk, cost, scalability, and strategic alignment
  • Collaborate with application, infrastructure, security, data, and engineering teams to evolve enterprise platforms and shared capabilities
  • Conduct architecture assessments, scenario planning, and roadmap development to support business and technology strategy
  • Leverage enterprise architecture tools and repositories to document technology assets, dependencies, standards, and roadmaps

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in Enterprise Architecture, Solution Architecture, Application Architecture, Infrastructure Architecture, or related leadership roles
  • Broad experience across applications, cloud platforms, infrastructure, integrations, data architecture, and enterprise technology strategy
  • Strong understanding of architecture frameworks, governance models, and technology roadmapping
  • Experience with Azure and modern cloud-native architectures
  • Knowledge of AI-enabled solutions, automation, API strategies, integration patterns, and digital platform ecosystems
  • Excellent communication, business partnering, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Proven ability to influence technical and business decisions at all levels of the organization
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience leading enterprise modernization or digital transformation initiatives
  • Familiarity with architecture tools such as LeanIX, ADOIT, Orbus, Ardoq, MEGA, or similar platforms
  • Experience within large-scale enterprise environments supporting complex technology portfolios

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
