Here's the Role:

Are you passionate about technology and network design? If so, we ae seeking a Senior Enterprise Architect to provide leadership through spearheading strategic initiatives! In this role you will define strategic technology roadmaps and architectural visions for complex infrastructure, including cloud, data center, IT/OT, and 4G/5G systems. As a subject matter expert, we will look to you advise in network design, security, and integration for internal and external stakeholders. This is an opportunity to design secure and reliable systems by aligning technology strategies with business goals. A successful candidate will collaborate across departments and vendors to deliver complex solutions, specializing in networking, cybersecurity and application integration. How You’ll Contribute:
  • Develop and drive the design for secure, resilient, carrier-grade network systems across 4G LTE wireless, transport and broadband middle mile environments.
  • Design and build secure, scalable technology solutions, from customer data centers to state-wide 4G private LTE and carrier class networks, tailored to evolving business needs.
  • Define project requirements, technical specifications, and design, producing comprehensive documentation.
  • Provide technical subject matter expertise for design, deployment, capacity planning, and system modernization efforts.
  • Ensure mission-critical network reliability, business continuity, and disaster recovery capabilities. Provide guidance during complex outages.
  • Establish framework for architecture and network guidelines while driving strategic initiatives through detailed documentation and topology mapping.
How You’re Qualified:
  • Nine or more years of experience in network architecture, engineering, cybersecurity, or network systems design, including large-scale enterprise environments, commercial carrier networks, or related field or other relevant experience.
  • A degree(s) in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or relevant field may be substituted per LCRA guidelines for certain years of experience.
  • Driver's license
How You’ll Stand Out:
  • Advanced proficiency in transport architecture utilizing: MPLS/virtualization, BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, or DWDM technologies.
  • 4G/5G LTE experience in RAN coordination deployment or LTE Core experience.
  • Security design experience using Palo Alto Networks and virtual system architecture.
  • Proficient in developing and implementing enterprise/carrier network standards, modernization strategies, and governance frameworks.
  • Certification(s) in the following: Juniper JNCIP, Nokia NRS II, CISSP, and/or Cisco CCNP.
