Blackstone Talent Group, an award-winning technology consulting and talent agency is seeking a Enterprise Business Systems Lead to join our Client's team.

The Enterprise Business Systems Lead – Salesforce is responsible for driving business performance and operational excellence through the strategic use of enterprise technology. This role serves as the business owner and functional leader for the Company's Salesforce ecosystem, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Revenue Cloud, CRM, related integrations, and future platform capabilities.

 

As the primary liaison between business functions and technology, this position partners closely with Sales, Customer Service, Spare Parts, Field Service & Maintenance, Finance, Engineering, Operations, and other cross-functional teams to optimize business processes, improve data quality, increase user adoption, and deliver technology solutions that support enterprise growth and digital transformation.

 

The Enterprise Business Systems Lead combines strong business acumen with Salesforce ecosystem expertise to identify opportunities, improve processes, and ensure technology investments deliver measurable business value. The ideal candidate understands both how manufacturing organizations operate and how enterprise systems can be leveraged to enable better decision-making, operational efficiency, and customer experience while providing technical leadership for ongoing platform enhancements and integrations. The person will be a business expert who has demonstrated the ability to leverage technology to transform manufacturing businesses.

·       Serve as the business systems leader for the Company's Salesforce ecosystem, partnering with business leaders to develop scalable technology solutions that support enterprise strategy and operational excellence.

·       Collaborate with Sales, Customer Service, Spare Parts & Maintenance, Finance, Engineering, Operations, and other functional teams to analyze business processes, define future-state workflows, and drive continuous process improvement.

·       Translate business requirements into functional system solutions by configuring Salesforce, defining business rules, data governance, and integration requirements while promoting configuration over customization.

·       Lead the ongoing optimization of Salesforce and its integration with Epicor Kinetic ERP and other enterprise applications to ensure a connected, reliable, and efficient business systems environment.

·       Manage the Salesforce enhancement roadmap by prioritizing business needs, coordinating with IT and third-party partners, overseeing testing, and supporting successful solution delivery.

·       Promote configuration over customization and ensure solutions are maintainable, scalable, and aligned with enterprise architecture standards. 

·       Champion user adoption through training, change management, and process documentation while promoting best practices and maximizing platform utilization.

·       Establish and maintain data governance, reporting standards, and system integrity to improve data quality, business insights, and informed decision-making.

·       Stay current on Salesforce capabilities and emerging technologies, recommending innovative solutions that enhance business performance and support the Company's long-term digital transformation strategy.

·       Every employee is expected to support the GFS Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with our Quality System Manual and Quality Procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE, SUBJECT MATTER EXPERTISE

·       Bachelor's Degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

·       12+ years of progressive experience in enterprise business systems, business process improvement, enterprise applications, consulting, operations, or related disciplines.

·       10+ years of hands-on Salesforce experience, including expertise with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Revenue Cloud, CPQ.

·       Demonstrated success leading or supporting at least two Salesforce Revenue Cloud and Service Cloud implementations.

·       10+ years supporting complex, multi-site manufacturing organizations, preferably within a publicly traded company.

·       Proven functional business expertise with the ability to engage executive and functional leaders as a trusted advisor, translating business objectives into scalable technology-enabled solutions rather than serving solely as a technical resource.

·       Experience leading or supporting global business transformation initiatives involving CRM, ERP, quote-to-cash, customer service, sales operations, or enterprise application modernization. 

·       Strong understanding of business processes across Sales, Customer Service, Finance, Operations, Engineering, and Manufacturing, with experience driving cross-functional process improvement and enterprise system integration.
