  • Assist in provisioning, configuration, and maintenance of virtual machines in GCE and VMware environments.
  • Support hybrid infrastructure operations, ensuring system availability, performance, and stability.
  • Participate in execution of infrastructure builds and migration activities (on-prem to cloud, cloud-to-cloud) under guidance of senior engineers.
  • Perform routine system administration tasks including patching, upgrades, monitoring, and troubleshooting of Windows environments.
  • Support Active Directory-integrated environments, including user/group management, Group Policy (GPO), and authentication services.
  • Execute Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tasks using predefined templates and automation tools where applicable.
  • Follow established runbooks for provisioning, incident response, and operational activities.
  • Monitor system performance and respond to alerts, incidents, and service requests in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with middleware, application, networking, and security teams to support platform requirements.
  • Assist in troubleshooting incidents and perform basic root cause analysis with escalation as needed.
  • Maintain accurate system documentation, runbooks, and operational procedures.
  • Ensure adherence to enterprise security standards, patching policies, and compliance requirements.
  • Support Active Directory-integrated environments, including user/group management, Group Policy (GPO), and authentication services.
  • Manage and support core infrastructure services including internal DNS, DHCP, virtual IPs (VIPs), and load balancing configurations in support of application and platform availability.
  • Monitor and maintain DNS zones, DHCP scopes, and IP address allocation to ensure reliable network services.
  • Participate in 24x7 on-call rotation, providing after-hours support for production systems and incident response.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong working knowledge of Windows Server operating systems (2016/2019/2022).

  • Familiarity with Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP services.

  • Working knowledge of enterprise DNS, DHCP, VIP (Virtual IP), and load balancing concepts and operations.

  • Basic understanding of cloud platforms, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Compute Engine (GCE).

  • Familiarity with VMware environments (vSphere / vCenter) and virtual machine lifecycle management.

  • Understanding of hybrid infrastructure concepts (on-prem + cloud).

  • Exposure to automation and scripting (PowerShell preferred).

  • Ability to follow operational procedures and implement predefined technical solutions.

  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in a production support environment.

  • Strong attention to detail and ownership in executing assigned tasks.

  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams across IT domains.

  • Willingness to learn and grow across cloud, virtualization, and infrastructure technologies.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
  • 2-5+ years of experience in IT operations, Windows system administration, or infrastructure support roles.
