Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Consultant with a strong background in Automotive Manufacturing to join our consultancy team. The ideal candidate will possess over 15 years of relevant experience and demonstrate a deep understanding of the automotive industry, including manufacturing processes, supply chain management, and quality assurance. This role requires a strategic thinker who can provide expert guidance to our clients, helping them optimize their operations and achieve their business objectives.
Responsibilities
Provide expert consultancy services to clients in the automotive manufacturing sector, focusing on operational efficiency and process improvement.
Analyze client needs and develop tailored solutions that enhance productivity and reduce costs.
Conduct comprehensive assessments of manufacturing processes and supply chain operations.
Collaborate with cross functional teams to implement best practices and innovative solutions.
Lead workshops and training sessions to educate client teams on industry standards and methodologies.
Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and technological advancements to provide informed recommendations.
Prepare detailed reports and presentations for stakeholders, summarizing findings and proposed strategies.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and repeat business.
Mandatory Skills
Extensive knowledge of automotive manufacturing processes, including lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and quality control.
Proven experience in supply chain management and logistics within the automotive sector.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make strategic decisions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
Demonstrated ability to lead projects and manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment.
Preferred Skills
Experience with digital transformation initiatives in the automotive industry.
Familiarity with regulatory compliance and safety standards in automotive manufacturing.
Knowledge of emerging technologies such as automation, AI, and IoT in manufacturing.
Project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, etc.) is a plus.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field; Master s degree preferred.
15+ years of experience in consultancy or a related role within the automotive manufacturing industry.
Proven track record of successful project delivery and client engagement.
Willingness to travel as required to meet client needs.
