Position: Endpoint Application Packaging Engineer
Location: Chicago, IL (Hybrid)
Overview
This role will focus on software deployment, application installation/removal, Workspace One administration, troubleshooting deployment issues, and building automation workflows to improve software delivery processes. The team is currently supporting major modernization efforts related to the transition from APS to UPS and ABAMAS platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage software deployments and application packaging activities
- Create and maintain Workspace One Smart Groups, Tags, Sensors, and Assignment Groups
- Develop PowerShell-based automations and deployment workflows
- Troubleshoot software deployment, Windows, and WMI-related issues
- Partner with application teams to coordinate deployment schedules and testing
- Support workstation environments used across airport and frontline operations
- Develop deployment reporting and analytics
Preferred Experience
- Workspace One / Omnissa experience strongly preferred
- Intune experience will also be considered
- SCCM / Microsoft Endpoint Management
- PowerShell scripting and automation
- Enterprise software deployment and configuration management
- Large enterprise environment experience
- Airline industry experience is a plus
Rate - $65 - $70/Hr
