Enterprise Engineering Platforms Leader
Summary
Our client is seeking an Enterprise Engineering Platforms Leader to serve as a strategic leader responsible for defining and delivering the initiatives, roadmap, vision, and operational excellence for enterprise engineering systems and the desktop application ecosystem. This role will provide forward-looking leadership across the full application lifecycle, aligning technology capabilities with business strategy to ensure engineering teams are equipped with resilient, intuitive, and future-ready solutions.
Responsibilities
- Define and maintain application and technology roadmaps to ensure solutions are secure, resilient, scalable, and aligned with vendor lifecycles.
- Partner with business and technical providers to translate needs into solutions with cost/benefit analysis and deployment architectures.
- Manage relationships with key software providers (Autodesk, Bentley, Hexagon, AVEVA, Esri) to achieve business outcomes.
- Lead and develop a small team responsible for executing work within the portfolio.
- Provide oversight to IT service providers to ensure engineering systems are available, performant, and supported per KPIs/SLAs.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in IT, engineering, and construction practices including engineering applications.
- Experience managing the application lifecycle for desktop, Cloud, and hosted engineering solutions from key providers (Autodesk, Bentley, Hexagon, AVEVA, Esri).
- Background in designing, building, and maintaining enterprise design and modeling environments.
- Experience leading small technical teams in an operational environment.
- U.S. Citizen capable of being exposed to Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI).
Preferred
- Experience in the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) industry.
- Solid understanding of cross-disciplinary AEC workflows and project execution in CAD/CAE technologies.
- Experience managing third-party SaaS and application hosting platforms.
- Solid understanding of application packaging and deployment via SCCM.
- Experience with ServiceNow reporting/ITIL service management framework.
This is a 6-Month Contract opportunity with our Overland Park, KS client.
