Enterprise Infrastructure Administrator

Eagle One Solutions, Inc., a Chenega Professional Services’ company, is looking for a Enterprise Infrastructure Administrator who is responsible for the administration, engineering, security, and optimization of enterprise infrastructure services supporting on-premises, cloud, and hybrid technology environments. This role provides technical expertise in virtualization, cloud computing, identity and access management, storage systems, and Zero Trust Architecture initiatives. The Enterprise Infrastructure Administrator supports infrastructure modernization efforts while ensuring the reliability, scalability, security, and performance of mission-critical enterprise systems.

Responsibilities

• Administer, maintain, and optimize enterprise infrastructure services across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments.
• Manage and support VMware virtualization platforms, including clusters, ESXi hosts, vCenter environments, virtual machines, and associated management systems.
• Administer Microsoft Azure cloud services, including compute, storage, networking, backup, disaster recovery, and related infrastructure resources.
• Support cloud adoption initiatives through the planning, implementation, migration, and optimization of cloud and hybrid-cloud solutions.
• Monitor infrastructure performance, utilization, and capacity to ensure operational efficiency, reliability, and availability.
• Implement, configure, and maintain Zero Trust Architecture technologies, security controls, and access management solutions to strengthen enterprise security posture.
• Support identity-centric security initiatives utilizing Microsoft Entra ID, including authentication services, conditional access policies, identity governance, and privileged access controls.
• Perform full lifecycle administration of enterprise storage platforms, including provisioning, configuration, upgrades, migrations, troubleshooting, decommissioning, and secure disposal activities.
• Maintain storage asset inventories and support hardware and software lifecycle management activities.
• Develop infrastructure architecture recommendations and implement enhancements that improve system performance, resilience, scalability, and security.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure issues involving virtualization, cloud platforms, storage systems, identity services, and integrated technologies.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity, networking, application, and systems teams to ensure infrastructure solutions align with operational and security requirements.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, implementation plans, standard operating procedures, and knowledge base articles.
• Support disaster recovery, business continuity, backup, and restoration activities to ensure ongoing system availability.
• Participate in infrastructure modernization initiatives, technology refresh projects, and enterprise transformation efforts.
• Ensure compliance with organizational security standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of seven (7) years of experience administering enterprise infrastructure in complex IT environments.
• Experience administering VMware virtualization platforms, including clusters, hosts, virtual machines, and related infrastructure components.
• Experience supporting Microsoft Azure cloud services and hybrid cloud environments.
• Experience with storage administration, storage lifecycle management, and enterprise backup and recovery solutions.
• Experience implementing and supporting identity and access management solutions, including Microsoft Entra ID.
• Knowledge of enterprise security principles and infrastructure hardening practices.
• Experience troubleshooting and resolving complex infrastructure, cloud, virtualization, and storage-related issues.
• Strong technical documentation and process development skills.
• Ability to obtain and maintain any required government security clearance or public trust designation, if applicable.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or related Microsoft certification.
• VMware Certified Professional (VCP) or equivalent virtualization certification.
• CompTIA Security+, CISSP, CCSP, or other cybersecurity certifications.
• Experience implementing or supporting Zero Trust Architecture initiatives.
• Experience supporting federal government, healthcare, scientific research, or regulated environments.
• Experience with cloud migration planning and execution.
• Experience with infrastructure automation and scripting tools such as PowerShell, Python, ARM templates, or Terraform.
• Knowledge of disaster recovery, business continuity, and high-availability architecture design.
• Experience with enterprise storage platforms, backup technologies, and data protection solutions.
• ITIL Foundation certification or experience supporting ITIL-based service management practices.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Advanced knowledge of enterprise infrastructure administration, engineering, and operations.
• Strong experience with VMware virtualization technologies, including vSphere, ESXi, and vCenter.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure services, cloud architecture principles, and hybrid cloud environments.
• Understanding of Zero Trust Architecture concepts and modern cybersecurity best practices.
• Experience with Microsoft Entra ID and identity and access management technologies.
• Knowledge of enterprise storage technologies, storage area networks (SAN), backup systems, and lifecycle management practices.
• Ability to evaluate infrastructure performance and implement solutions that improve availability, scalability, and security.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills across multiple technology domains.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while supporting mission-critical systems and services.

USD $135,000.00/Yr. Up to USD $160,000.00/Yr.
