Perform network assessments and recommend Best Practice network architecture for network performance, capacity, stability, availability, security, and cost efficiency. Definition of overall network network architecture, technical configuration standards and overall technical management of installations. Technical and operational expertise to develop reference architecture design (LAN, WAN, Wall-to-Wall Wireless, Data Center) and standard technical solutions (SD-WAN, Extranet, DMZ, DEV and PROD DC). Assess technical and business requirements of the client. Translate customer requirements into technical solutions and functional specifications. Create network reference architectures for enterprise customers - LAN, WAN, QoS, Wall to Wall Wireless, Zero Trust, Security. Gain understanding of the wider big picture view of a large Global enterprise customer environment. Work independent with little guidance and as a team player on projects. Raise highly impacting network architecture & network operations risks and identified number of network design gaps. Work with different service providers on many projects, design and align network solutions with standards. Extensive experience in LAN /WAN design and implementation in datacenter and enterprise solutions using Multi-Vendor solutions and their integration. In depth knowledge of the Full Cisco network device product line Switches/Routers/Firewalls/Wireless/Datacenter and management tools DNA Center, Solarwinds, Netdisco, IP Fabric. Full time employment, Monday Friday, 40 hours per week, $180,003.00 per year. Minimum Requirements:Masters degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Networks or a related field and 5 years of work experience in Manufacturing industry. Of the required experience, must have 5 years of experience in all of the following: * Plant Manufacturing secure network design and implementation (FW, PERA, ZTNA); * Advanced Network Routing Design and Implementation (OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, IS-IS); and * Advanced Network Switching design and implementation (RPSTP, MSTP, Private vlans, and SD-LAN). Of the required experience, must have 3 years of experience in all of the following: * Private Cloud Datacenter network and security design and implementation (EVPN BGP, FCoE, FWs, DMZ, LB, Zero Trust); * Public Cloud Datacenter Network design and implementation (VPC, VNET, vWAN, UDR, and LB); * Network SD-WAN Design and Implementation (MP-BGP, VXLAN, VRF); and * Zero Trust Network Design and Implementation (SASE, ZTNA at WAN, LAN and Cloud Edge).The position requires travel to various unanticipated worksite locations throughout the U.S. When not required on-site, 100% telecommuting permitted; candidate may reside anywhere in the U.S. To apply, please email permdocs@kyndryl.com and reference the following job ID number in the subject line: R-64228 - Enterprise Network Infrastructure Architect
