Requirements
- 2 or more years of experience in enterprise network engineering, routing, switching, and wireless architectures.
- Proficiency in configuring, monitoring, and troubleshooting Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, and Fortinet network devices.
- Experience with routing protocols and technologies including OSPF, BGP, VLANs, Spanning Tree (STP), and high availability.
- Experience in network security technologies encompassing next-generation firewalls, VPNs, and Network Access Control (NAC).
- Experience with physical field deployment activities, including racking, stacking, structured cabling, and hardware testing.
- Experience in network monitoring tools, automation scripting using Python or Ansible, and ITIL change management.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Monitor, maintain, and support multi-vendor enterprise wired and wireless network routing and switching infrastructures.
- Configure, deploy, rack, stack, and cable network switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless access points.
- Diagnose and resolve complex network connectivity, routing protocol, and performance degradation incidents.
- Administer network security platforms, firewall access policies, and virtual private network (VPN) tunnels.
- Execute scheduled firmware upgrades, OS patching, and network hardware lifecycle replacement projects.
- Author and maintain technical network topology diagrams, configuration baselines, runbooks, and incident records.
- Participate in on-call rotations to provide emergency incident response and after-hours infrastructure support.
