Essential Functions

Lead annual pricing reviews, recurring rate updates, and charge structure evaluations, ensuring pricing decisions support financial sustainability, competitive market positioning, and margin integrity.

Utilizing SQL, Epic Clarity, and advanced Excel techniques, build complex analytical models to extract, analyze, and interpret gross and net revenue impacts on pricing, factoring in specific payer reimbursement rates, pricing elasticity, competitor pricing, and cost, as necessary.

Conduct benchmarking using state databases, commercial pricing tools, and peer comparisons to evaluate market competitiveness; identify pricing outliers, inconsistencies, or opportunities for strategic adjustment; and recommend pricing refinements that balance competitiveness, reimbursement, and patient affordability.

Develop executive-level reports for each business unit to guide strategic decision-making and partner with Finance teams to incorporate future price changes into the budgeting process.

Support compliance with CMS and state-level price transparency requirements by provisioning data and overseeing pricing data accuracy for public-facing tools; collaborate with internal and external audit teams; and monitor regulatory changes impacting pricing, reimbursement, and charge strategy.

Collaborate with clinical and operational stakeholders on new service evaluations, program expansions, and budget variance assessments.

Partner with Revenue Integrity to ensure Epic fee schedules and algorithms result in expected pricing, auditing performance and facilitating changes as needed.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Healthcare or Business Administration required, with a concentration in accounting, finance or other related field highly preferred.

Minimum five (5) years of experience in healthcare financial analysis, revenue integrity, pricing, reimbursement, or related analytical roles in a healthcare setting required.
